The Husky Group originated in Blackburn, England in 1957 and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Originally a refrigeration service company the business quickly evolved into a full service partner to numerous global brands by providing in house product design. prototyping. production, logistics, service and ultimately disposal of a broad range of commercial chillers in the UK.
Today the business produces over 200 model types and has companies in USA, Ireland, England, Germany, South Africa, India, China and Australia plus numerous other countries which it supplies through its official distributor network more...
Husky UK
The UK operation is split into three autonomous companies, and employs over 100 people. Husky Commercial has close links with all major FMCG brands, supplies branded products for their own use and supplies the convenience and the hospitality sector with chillers and freezers. Husky Home Appliances supplies domestic chillers, fridges and freezers to many large retailers. Epzilon is the in-house design and marketing agency. The UK office is based in large warehouse facilities in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, at the heart of the UK and close to all major transport links.
Husky Asia
Headed by a Husky UK Director, the Husky Asia team includes experienced English and Chinese personnel who co-ordinate all international orders, sourcing and production.
The team are dedicated to meeting customer expectations through the provision of best quality products at the most competitive prices. Husky Asia is based in
Guangzhou, one of China's main industrial centre and is well located for land sea and air networks, connecting the production line directly
Husky USA
Husky America provides marketing and service support to its North American distributor network as well as supporting its South America sales offices based in Venezuela.
Although the group has traded in Europe and other countries for over 50 yrs, today’s Husky products represent an exciting new product range to the USA and provides the ambitious distributor with a true one-stop-shop to supply a comprehensive product range fully supported with professional logistics, marketing and service activities.
Husky’s approach to doing business in all markets is unique and we believe the North American market is now demanding the better value that the Husky range provides. Both the business and consumers market are moving towards lower energy consumption and greener equipment - the husky range provides these with innovative new concepts.
Husky Deutschland
Husky Deutschland is responsible for European sales, outside the UK and Ireland.
Four years ago Husky Deutschland started very successfully with launching the Husky CoolCube in Europe. This success continues today and from 2008, the range will be expanded, to include a wide variety of commercial and hospitality refrigeration equipment.
Headed by Axel Schneider, the multi-lingual team is based in Frankfurt, Germany.
Husky Australia
Headed by CEO Nicholas Carkeek, the Husky Australia Team includes experienced industry personal servicing the Asia Pacific Region co-coordinating national distribution, warehousing and service.Husky’s corporate offices are located in Melbourne, Australia’s most cosmopolitan and multicultural city making this the ideal location, with sales offices based in every Australian Capital City, Husky’s network of warehouses span Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and also New Zealand, directly connecting the Asia Pacific region, including Singapore, Fiji and the South Pacific Islands.
Husky Ireland
Headed by Eamon & Philip Kelly, the Husky Ireland team provide the hospitality industry in Ireland with refrigeration systems across the country. The Husky Ireland team goes that one step further by advising pub, club, hotel and restaurant owners on the most effective units and designs for their refrigeration systems. The Husky team's novel approach to liasing between drink companies and its customers is what makes Husky Ireland stand out in the area of refrigeration.
Husky South Africa
Humph Lonsdale has spent the last seventeen years in marketing and assisting overseas companies to establish their products in the dynamic new South African market and is now responsible for our Johannesburg based operation.
